Meet Pat Deacon
I fell in love with Homeopathy in 1981 when seeking healing for one of my children and then for myself, until it became our family’s go-to Medicine. I was fortunate enough to move to and study and then practice in England when there were no homeopathic colleges in Canada. I graduated from Purton House School of Homeopathy in Buckinghamshire in 1996 and then, back in Canada, from Louis Klein’s Homeopathic Master Clinician post-graduate programme in 2002.
I currently live in Penticton, British Columbia, with my husband of 50 years, Derek Evans, and our senior cat. One of our adult children and two grandchildren live by, with other son and daughter in Vancouver. I spent my childhood in rural Western Quebec and my adult life in Montreal, Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, and Vankleek Hill, Ontario; Vancouver, Naramata, and Penticton, B.C. and in Saffron Walden, Essex (UK). I have had practices in all those places, as well as in Cambridge, UK.
Continuing Education is important to me. Homeopathy is a field that is rapidly changing and it is important to me to keep pace with those changes. To that end, I regular attend webinars and have studied with master homeopaths Louis Klein, Jan Scholten, Ulrich Welte, and Jonathan Hardy.
I recently discovered my birth siblings through shared DNA and am gradually getting to know them, after living in a complete and frustrating darkness about my genetic origin. I have a particular affinity to working with other adoptees and the unique life challenges they live with.
